Getting to know me…
With 14 years of experience as a social studies educator, Jason ‘Raz’ Rasmussen has always had a passion for exploring the stories that shape who we are — both in history and in pop culture. A proud child of the 1980s, he grew up during the golden age of mixtapes, Saturday morning cartoons, and the rise of home video gaming. When he’s not teaching in the classroom or deep-diving into a nostalgic rabbit hole, he’s probably catching up on reality TV, quoting movie lines no one asked for, or spending time traveling with his family. A husband, dad, and proud dog dad, he’s bringing all of his love for the past — and all its wonderfully weird moments — to the mic each week on Tubular Time Machine.
I'm participating in the Over the Edge Celebrity Weekend to raise funds for the Autism Society, and I need your support to reach my goal of $2,500 by early December.
